Yvonne Zendesha

Yvonne Zendesha (Midwifery Team Lead, Pregnant & Awaiting Mothers’ Clinic) is a dedicated nurse and midwife with over 10years of clinical experience. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and has a Master’s degree in sexual and reproductive health policy and programming in view. Yvonne is on a path to build a strong career focused on improving maternal and newborn health outcomes. She has spent the last five years working closely with pregnant women through a maternal health-focused Non-governmental organisation, where she has been actively involved in community outreaches, antenatal education and advocacy initiatives aimed at reducing maternal and neonatal mortality. Outside of work, Yvonne enjoys sewing and creating outfits for herself and others with her fashion business.
