Virginie Zongo

Virginie Zongo (Program Coordinator, Jhpiego) is a midwife and sexual and reproductive health (SRH) specialist with 28 years of experience across clinical, humanitarian, and public health settings. She has over nine years of experience coordinating humanitarian and public health projects, with expertise in leadership, SRHR program management, capacity building, family planning innovation, clinical supervision, and implementation in insecure contexts. She holds a Master’s degree in International Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Sexual and Reproductive Health. Her work is driven by a strong commitment to strengthening health systems and expanding equitable access to quality SRH services. Fun fact: Outside of work, she enjoys coaching young professionals in health project management and is deeply committed to continuous learning and reading.
