Viola Sindila Milambo

Viola is a seasoned nursing and quality improvement professional with over 14 years of experience in the public health sector in Zambia, specialising in health systems strengthening. Her work focuses on improving the quality of care, strengthening service delivery, and supporting the implementation of evidence-based practices across health systems. She has extensive experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, mentoring frontline health workers, and leading quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient outcomes and system performance. Trained as a nurse with a strong background in public health, she is passionate about building resilient, people-centred health systems and advancing nursing leadership. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring new things and is now exploring farming.
