Vandita Morarka (they/them) is a leading queer voice on social justice and human rights globally, from India, holding expertise as a lawyer, entrepreneur, and policy advocate. They are the CEO of One Future Collective (https://www.onefuturecollective.org/), which they founded motivated by a belief in the power of healing justice, community leadership, and fair institutions towards advancing social justice. At OFC, they lead strategy, business development and fundraising, and programming and impact. In the past, their work has involved traversing the fields of political consulting, strategic philanthropy, policy-legal research and advocacy, as well as human rights strategic litigation. They have served as a Director at CIVICUS and currently serve on the board of Internet Freedom Foundation. They are a Chevening Scholar who has pursued a degree in International Development Studies from the University of Sussex. They also hold an M.A. Degree in Public Policy and a PD Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights Law. They enjoy smart design and occasionally dabble in designing clothing and homes for friends, enjoy belly dancing, and are an avid reader.
