Tanvi Pandit-Rajani is the Private Sector and Health Markets Lead at John Snow, Inc., (JSI). In this role she brings innovative, creative and strategic thinking to solve complex health market challenges within project design, management, and implementation across JSI’s global portfolio. Over the last 20 years, she has worked at the nexus of policy, service delivery and the private sector to improve women’s access to family planning, reproductive health, and HIV prevention products and services in sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. Tanvi began her career as a Commodity Security Advisor at USAID where she was part of an early movement that focused on understanding and addressing market barriers to health product access through targeted investments. Subsequently, Tanvi served in a variety of senior management and technical roles with global health consulting firms where the projects under her leadership achieved national-level policy change and generated solutions that enabled greater access to healthcare.
In 2020, she was elected as the Chair for the Market Development Approaches Working Group of the Reproductive Health Supplies Coalition, a global partnership to ensure sustainable access and utilization of FP/RH products. Tanvi also serves on JSI’s Anti-Racism and Equity Task Force and is a Board Member of Impact RH360, a subsidiary of the non-profit pharmaceutical firm, Medicines360.
