Tanvi Jha is State Program Manager, Child in Need Institute, Jharkhand office managing multi sectoral programmes on health, nutrition, climate change, gender, education and protection with a team of around 200 professionals. Her current roles involve networking and liasion, overseeing programmes and administration and guiding a team of professionals working across various districts of Jharkhand. She has led the Jharkhand office of International Center for Research on Women and has been State lead for International Labour Organisation’s Child labour project at Jharkhand Labour Department. She has been awarded Media Fellowship by IPRD Department Jharkhand and felicitated by Chief Minister, Jharkhand. She has been on National Working Group of MWCD to draft the National Guidelines on Foster Care as well as State Guidelines for Jharkhand. With a professional degree in Environmental Science from Banaras Hindu University she has worked with Centre for Science & Environment at New Delhi and is a regular contributer to Down to Earth magazine as well as newspapers. She likes to network and is loves to be with friends.
