I am a passionate public health professional currently working as a Public Health Specialist at the National Tuberculosis Institute, Bengaluru. I bring over a decade of experience across academia, public health practice, and research. My current work focuses on capacity building of key stakeholders under the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP), including District TB Officers and Medical Officers, along with conducting implementation research in public health.
Previously, I have contributed to training undergraduate medical students in medical colleges and have led the execution of public health activities through several nationally and internationally funded projects with NGOs. I am formally trained in field epidemiology as an India Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) Officer from NCDC, Delhi. My core interests lie in strengthening the capacity of field health staff and advancing implementation research in public health.
Beyond my professional life, I cherish spending time with my daughters, especially reading stories together. I also enjoy painting, reading, gardening, and cooking.
