Suse Emiliano is a global health leader with over 17 years of experience advancing equitable, people-centered health programs that shift behaviors and strengthen systems. She currently serves as Chief of Programs at PSI Angola, leading integrated portfolios in family planning, malaria, gender-based violence, and social and behavior change, while building inclusive teams and partnerships that center community voice and accountability.
Her leadership is grounded in feminist principles, with a strong commitment to addressing power, gender, and structural inequities within health systems. Suse has held senior leadership roles across complex health initiatives in Angola, consistently championing ethical leadership, care-centered management, and sustainable impact. She holds an MSc in Health Psychology and an MBA in Health Economics, and is fluent in Portuguese, English, and French.
Outside of work, she is a devoted soccer lover and enjoys designing travel itineraries inspired by each destination.
