Shibumi is born and brought up in Himachal Pradesh. She is a gold medalist in Sociology from Punjab University Chandigarh. With 19 years of extensive experience in the development sector, particularly in social and health programs across various states in India, she has made significant contributions to transformative projects. Over the last decade, she has been instrumental in supporting the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Govt of Rajasthan, playing a crucial role in the successful implementation of large-scale initiatives like RMNCHA, Aspirational Districts, and Covid-19 vaccination campaigns at the grassroots level. She is presently working as Regional Program officer in Jhpiego, based out in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
Her work has consistently focused on enhancing program effectiveness, driving policy innovation, and fostering collaborative efforts to achieve sustainable health outcomes in underserved communities. She is an avid reader and wants to keep herself engaged in learning something new.
