Renuka is the Co-founder and Business Lead at HapiHygi Innovations Private Limited, a women-led sanitation innovation venture developing automated toilet seat cleaning systems for public and institutional washrooms. She holds a B.Tech and M.Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT Bombay and brings prior industry experience as a Quality Analyst at Meditab and a Software Developer at Intel.
At HygiSeat, she leads business development, strategic partnerships, pilot collaborations, and market outreach, ensuring strong alignment between user needs, product strategy, and commercialization pathways. Her work focuses on building scalable sanitation solutions that improve hygiene, dignity, and infection prevention across high-footfall spaces such as hospitals, schools, hospitality, and transport infrastructure. She is passionate about translating user insights into impactful public health innovations.
Outside work, she enjoys observing everyday human behaviour and often turns those insights into product and customer experience ideas.
