I am a public health specialist (MPH, MBChB), with over 21 years’ experience in health and development having worked in Clinical practice, in Health Policy and Planning and in Public health programme management and technical advisory roles.

My work experience cuts across the public and private sectors, various development partners in health and the UN in Kenya
and academic institution. My expertise covers clinical practice, health facility management; Policy and Planning at national level, Health care financing, Public Health Programme Management; devolved health systems and research.

I am passionate about health equity, health systems strengthening, Reproductive Health and Primary Health Care (PHC) as critical
elements of Universal Health Coverage (UHC). I am fluent in English and Kiswahili and enjoy cycling and reading.
