Jeanine Condo is a medical doctor and PhD holder in Public Health. She is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Rwanda and Tulane University (USA). Since 2020/2021, she has served as the managing director of CIIC-HIN (Center for Impact, Innovation, and Capacity Building for Health Information and Nutrition (CIIC-HIN), a not-for-profit registered in Rwanda. Previously, she held numerous senior governmental posts at the University of Rwanda and the Ministry of Health.

As the former Director General of Rwanda Biomedical Center (RBC) (2016-2019), an implementing institution of the Ministry of Health, with 700 staff institution, she applied evidence-based interventions to improve health care delivery in Rwanda. She also served as the Deputy Dean of Research and Dean of the School of Public Health and Principal of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of Rwanda. She served as a member of Technical Evaluation Review Group (TERG) at the Global Fund from 2015-2018, a member of the International Advisory Group for Primary Health Care at WHO in 2018, member of Evaluation Advisory Committee (EAC) at GAVI from 2016 to 2021 and serves as a member of African Academy of Sciences (AAS). She is now serving as a member of Scientific Advisory group for COVID-19 and co – chair of HSS Evaluation within Itad (UK) and has published over 50 peer-reviewed articles.
