Prof. Piyusha Majumdar is a public health researcher, educator, and implementation researcher, TEDx speaker, currently an Associate Professor at IIHMR University, Jaipur.

With over 20 years of experience spanning academia, global health research, and capacity building, with a strong focus on translating evidence into practice to improve health. She is the Executive Producer of the ENSURE HEALTH podcast, Co-PI of the STRIPE Project with Johns Hopkins University, Focal point for WHO/ TDR’s post-graduate training scheme at IIHMR University, providing training in Implementation Research to public health professionals from the Eastern Mediterranean Region & Southeast Asia region, and a global grantee of This is Public Health (TIPH). As Chair of the NIH Consortium on Cancer Implementation Science, her work advances implementation science and health equity in India and beyond.

Faculty Member Listed in IR Connect Platform supported by TDR– A platform promotes active engagement amongst members through sharing of lessons learned from Implementation Research and exchange of resource materials related to Implementation Research.

Dr Majumdar has contributed to peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, and expert panels, and regularly mentors students and early-career researchers. Her professional interests include social innovation in health, implementation science, and strengthening health systems through evidence-informed decision-making.

A fun fact about me is that I was born on Teacher’s Day, and I became an educator. Recently, I started dreaming about becoming an Edu preneur (Educator + Entrepreneur)
