Okonkwo Elizabeth Uju

Okonkwo Elizabeth Uju (Clinic Officer, Planned Parenthood Federation of Nigeria) is a registered Nurse and Midwife, and a maternal and child health enthusiast, who holds a Master’s degree in Maternal and Child Health nursing (MCH). Her work focuses on improving reproductive, maternal, and child health outcomes through health education, clinical care, screenings and community-based outreaches. Elizabeth has experience in family planning services, adolescent sexual and reproductive health, and public health advocacy, with a strong interest in increasing access to cervical cancer screening, family planning and childhood immunisation in underserved communities. She is passionate about strengthening and empowering women through real-time health interventions. Outside work, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her family and engaging in health-focused discussions with over 200 women in her WhatsApp group.
