I currently serve as a Manager at the Himalayan Institute Hospital Trust (HIHT) and Swami Rama Himalayan University (SRHU). In this role, I oversee various project activities, including coordination, planning, research, and the development of training programs focused on areas such as Adolescent Reproductive & Sexual Health, School Menstrual Hygiene Management, Differently-abled & Community-Based Rehabilitation, and Gender Mainstreaming.
With over 25 years of experience, I have contributed to numerous grassroots development programs, specializing in mobilizing NGOs, stakeholders, and community groups. My work has involved implementing inclusive livelihood approaches, promoting gender equity, and supporting community-based rehabilitation and menstrual health management initiatives.
In addition to my professional role, I am a content writer and poet, exploring contemporary social issues such as women’s rights, water conservation, and cultural dynamics. In recognition of my literary contributions, I was honoured with the Girish Tiwari Girda Literature Award in 2019.
I hold a Master of Arts in English Literature from H.N.B. Garhwal University.
Outside of work, I enjoy writing poetry and articles and am passionate about finding creative ways to contribute to social causes and community development.
