Ndasowamwai Chitule

Ndasowa Chitule is a seasoned social development and public health specialist with over two decades of public health programming experience under her belt. She is a leader in health systems strengthening program design, coordination and implementation. Ndasowa has led program design and implementation of public health interventions focusing on community, sub national and national level health systems with over 10 years leading programs with donor agencies.

Her professional interest centres on strengthening the intersect between health systems policy, service delivery integration and sustainability, a strategic approach to healthcare that moves away from fragmented models toward long-term, resilient, and equitable health systems. Ndasowa holds a Degree in Education from University of Malawi, master’s degree in public health from Liverpool John Moores University and a master’s degree in strategic management from University of Derby.

Ndasowa currently heads VillageReach Malawi country office and is focusing on advancing Supply Chain systems strengthening, Human Resources for Health and integrating digital innovation in health service delivery such as Immunization and Sexual Reproductive Health services. Outside her professional work, Ndasowa is passionate about empowering young people, and enjoys reading self-help books, travel and spending time with family and friends.
