Dr. Mrudula Holkar is a medical graduate with a postgraduate degree in Public Health and a woman with a strong commitment to strengthening India’s health systems. She has worked extensively across public health research, administration, and large-scale implementation under the National Health Mission, contributing to initiatives that improve access, efficiency, and quality of care, where she has contributed to the design and execution of impactful national programmes.
Her work includes leading and supporting innovative projects, such as the use of GIS for health mapping and data-driven planning, to enhance service delivery at both district and community levels. She currently serves in the public health system while pursuing a PhD in Health Science, where her research focuses on translating evidence into actionable policy and practice.
Fun fact about her is that, outside of work, she’s happily “forgetful” about daily office items but never about her passion for getting the job done.
