Dr. G. K. Mini is a public health researcher and Professor at the Global Institute of Public Health, Ananthapuri Hospitals and Research Institute, Thiruvananthapuram. She holds a doctorate in Demography from the University of Kerala and has over two decades of experience in public health research and academic work. She has worked with the UNDP and served as a National Consultant with the UNWFP in India. Her research has been supported by grants from Harvard University, UNFPA, and the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, and she has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals. She is passionate about promoting women’s health and healthy behaviours. She is a Bernard Lown Scholar in Cardiovascular Health at Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health, Harvard University, USA. She was listed among the World’s Top 2% Scientists in Public Health by Stanford University Rankings & Elsevier BV (2022–2025).
