Mercy Marimirofa

Ms. Marimirofa is a public health specialist with over a decade of experience in program implementation, research, monitoring and evaluation with a focus on reproductive health, family planning, and HIV/AIDS. She holds a Master of Science in Biostatistics and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics, complemented by Executive Masters in Business and administration and training in programme and project monitoring and evaluation, as well as leadership and management. Her expertise spans in strategic planning, program implementation, advanced data systems, including Big Data and Artificial Intelligence applications in health. She has served in senior technical roles as an M&E Officer, Program Manager, and Assistant Director within evaluation and research units across public health institutions before appointed as Director Technical Services. A skilled biostatistician and researcher, she contributes to the scientific community as both a peer reviewer for academic journals and an author of published research articles.
