Margaret Dovi Akpalu

Margaret Dovi Akpalu (Principal Health Tutor, Nursing and Midwifery Training College, Korle-Bu) is a midwife and an educator with over fifteen years of experience across clinical practice, education, and research in Ghana. She holds an MPhil in Midwifery from the University of Ghana and two First-Class bachelor’s degrees in Health Science Education and Midwifery. Appointed by the Ghana Ministry of Health as a Midwifery Tutor, she has taught and supervised students across multiple training colleges. She also serves as an accredited examiner for the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana. Her research interests include Maternal and Child Health and issues of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights. She is committed to advancing midwifery through evidence-based practice and leadership. Margaret enjoys movies, listening to music, and nature walks, finding joy in screen storytelling and peaceful time outdoors.
