Manisha Dutta carries over a decade of experience advancing health innovations across rural, tribal, and urban low-income contexts in India. Her work centres on building scalable, sustainable models that strengthen women’s leadership, primary healthcare ecosystems, and equitable access to care.
She currently leads the design and scale-up of a Community Health Entrepreneurship model across Pune, Mumbai, and Lucknow, supporting 150+ women and LGBTQ+ health entrepreneurs to deliver doorstep primary healthcare. Previously she had anchored the nurse-led primary healthcare model in rural , tribal Rajasthan. She has led a state-wide team in Meghalaya, strengthening 6,800+ Village Health Councils, with national recognition from the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. She carries a diverse range of experience working with communities, anchoring multistakeholder forums, consortiums and health systems in Rajasthan, Assam, Meghalaya.
Manisha is also a certified Menstrual Health Coach and is building an initiative advancing holistic menstrual and hormonal health by creating safe spaces for women in rural areas.
She has been a Global Shaper and Founding Member of Guwahati Hub as part of WEF Global Shapers Community, a Climate Reality Mentor leading several initiatives in Assam focussed on health and climate. She is a published qualitative researcher and aims to bridge grassroots realities with policy and leadership platforms to drive lasting health systems change.
Manisha is an alumni of LSR College For Women and IIT-Guwahati. She loves to live life to the lees by exploring her joys across basketball, classical singing, blogging, traveling, stand-up comedy.
