Dr. Manika Sharma works as the Senior Technical Advisor, Nutrition at Resolve to Save Lives (RTSL) India, where she works on nutrition programs focussing on promoting healthier food environment.
With almost 15 years of experience in public health and nutrition, she has worked with Nutrition International, IFPRI, and UNICEF across India and South Asia. Her experience includes working on social safety net programs, promoting dietary diversity, developing analytical frameworks for nutrition & health, economics of nutrition interventions, agriculture-to-nutrition pathways, adolescent nutrition, and providing technical support to State and National Governments.
Dr. Sharma holds a Master’s degree in Health Administration from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai where she received the Institute Gold Medal for academic excellence
Beyond work, she is an avid reader with a keen interest in geopolitics and global health, a fitness enthusiast, and a passionate traveller on a mission to explore the world’s greatest art museums.
