Dr. Lennie Kyomuhangi Bazira is a Global Health Executive deploying data-driven, evidence-based strategies/programs and building robust corporate/non-profit partner networks to optimize care delivery across US and Sub-Saharan African health systems. Lennie holds an MPH/Health Economics; PG/Diploma in Human Resources Management and a bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery. Her work experience spans various disciplines including project and country programs leadership and management, work with various multilateral and bilateral donors (USG, GFTAM, EU, DFID, Foreign Governments, Corporates and Philanthropies/Foundations), multi country coordination plus government relationship management. Lennie has held various positions from heading a dental department in a Military referral hospital in Uganda to Interim CEO of Amref Health Africa in Kenya. She comes to CHIC from the Mastercard Foundation where she led the design of the CHW program as Lead-Health Employment. Her main career interests include Global Health program leadership and management, health systems strengthening and community level work that target the marginalized communities with a focus on women and children. Lennie is a Ugandan-American and currently resides in the USA. Lennie is a full-time working mother of toddler twins, a boy and girl plus one daughter in heaven. Lennie loves children and making new friends.
