2022 Leadership Journey Project: Operationalizing Gender Mainstreaming in Health Projects of SAATHII

Dr. Kriti Singh is a social scientist, and has completed her Mphil, and PhD from the Centre of Social Medicine and Community Health, JNU.  She is currently working as Project Director of Gender Integrated Response to COVID project funded by EngenderHealth and USAID. She has demonstrated her managerial skills by successfully leading the implementation of the Catalyzing Pediatric TB project implemented in three states- Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Telangana Oct 2020-Dec 2021 as National Program and Technical Specialist. She also led the USAID supported Project Sambhuya in 400 plus tea gardens in 5 districts of Assam from January 2018 to September 2020. She has proficiency in designing and conducting studies both qualitative and quantitative including baseline studies, process evaluation, gap analysis, program evaluations, and Delphi studies. Further, she has led research studies on Assam tea gardens, PMSMA, Mera Aspataal, a pateient feedback mechanism of NHM, GoI in SAATHII before taking on managerial responsibilities. She has been associated with UNICEF, PHFI, John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health as an independent consultant in research projects. Her work in the development sector in the areas of TB, maternal and child health, HIV and AIDS, women empowerment, and education in leadership roles helped identify her passion for working with the marginalized section of the population especially women and children. She has publications in national and international journals.
