Kavita Ayyagari

Kavita Ayyagari brings 20 years of rich experience in the field of Public Health Advocacy, Communications, and Campaigns. Prior to joining Girl Effect India as Country Director , Kavita has led innovative Innovative gaming and private-sector partnership programs for Howard Delafield International, Pathfinder International and Abt Associates Inc on Adolescent Health and Family Planning. She has worked with the International Union Against TB and Lung Disease on the #indiavsTB campaign on increasing political will & leadership and resources for TB and Save the Children on New Born Child Survival. She has a Masters degree in Economics, and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communications. She lives between 2 cities, Delhi and Mumbai and is a mother to two lovely young adults and her Cat Obi-Wan and her Frenchie Count Dooku!
