My name is Karuna Singh and I am the State Director for Ipas Development Foundation (IDF), leading the Comprehensive Abortion Care (CAC) program in Rajasthan since 2009. My responsibilities include program management, government liaison, and advocacy. With 27 years of experience in public health and social impact assessment, I have previously worked with organizations such as the Karnataka Health Promotion Trust and the Rajasthan State AIDS Control Society.
I hold a Master’s degree in Anthropology, a postgraduate diploma in Epidemiology, and I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Anthropology from the University of Rajasthan. In recognition of my contributions to HIV/AIDS and safe abortion services, I received the “”Precious Daughter of India”” Award in 2018 from Elets Technomedia, facilitated by the Government of Rajasthan.
Beyond my professional work, I am deeply passionate about animal welfare and actively volunteer with local NGOs. I also enjoy singing and gardening.
