Trained in all routine and emergency obstetric and gynecological procedures under supervision of senior consultants. Took active part in the teaching activities and workshops organized by the Department 4 All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS),New Delhi (Central Govt) Senior Research Associate (Obstetrics and Gynecology) 5.4.2010 to 10.4.2012 (except for 5 months mentioned below) Focussed research in fetal medicine in the area of research topic. (Intrauterine transfusion). Performed fetal medicine procedures like amniocentesis , cordocentesis and chorion villus sampling. Assisted in intrauterine transfusions.. Participating in the clinical and teaching activities of the department and working on the assigned clinical research project. 5 Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi Assistant professor (Obstetrics and Gynecology) 19.11.2010 to 27.4.2011 Performed routine and emergency obstetrical and gynaecological procedures independently. Took theory and practical classes for undergraduates and postgraduates. Participated in the academic activities of the department. Helped in organizing national level conference in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Having special interest in fetal medicine actively doing diagnostic and therapeutic fetal invasive procedures along with research into newer avenues in fetal therapy. 7. All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi (Central Govt) Additional Professor 2019 September onwards • Teaching undergraduate /postgraduate and fetal medicine fellows. • Performing fetal interventions and developing the fetal medicine division of AIIMS as a referral point for advanced fetal medicine in North India • Research : principal investigator for both research and implementation based projects. Actively involved in establishing newer techniques of fetal intervention in the fetal medicine division including Radiofrequency Ablation, fetoscopic and ultrasound guided bipolar cord coagulation and fetoscopic laser coagulation. With increasing number of interventions AIIMS fetal medicine division is the hub of referral for all complicated cases requiring fetal therapy in North India. • Numerous publication on the various aspects of maternal fetal medicine (Annexure 1) • Joint Secretary for the largest society of Fetal Medicine Specialists in India, the Society of fetal Medicine, conducting regular academics and hands on training. • Published several practice recommendations from the society on various aspects fetal medicine. o SFM India Oriented Guidelines for Ultrasound Establishments During the COVID 19 Pandemic .
