I am a public health professional, with more than a decade of work experience in different states of India such as UP, Bihar and Manipur, and currently working with TeamLease Foundation as Partnerships Advisor-Public Health and based out of Guwahati, Assam. I oversee the projects implemented for Public Health in North East region of India with focus on partnerships with government officials and civil society organizations, collaboration with like-minded stakeholders and resource mobilization. Previously, I worked with John Snow India Pvt. Ltd. for increase in uptake of the COVID-19 vaccination and with UNDP for digitization of Routine Immunization and COVID-19 vaccination through COWIN portal and vaccine stock management through eVIN network.
During my tenure with CARE India, my passion for advocacy for gender sensitivity and equality started right at Bihar where I was working for, where women were deprived of basic amenities like separate toilet facilities and equal opportunity to work at grassroot level. As a dedicated advocate for social change, I am deeply passionate about women’s leadership and its transformative potential.
I am a medical graduate with a Master’s degree in Public Health from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai.
I am a proud mother of two loving young boys, aged 5 and 2.5, and like singing, traveling and occasional cooking.
