Japleen Pasricha is the Founder and CEO of Feminism in India (FII), a digital and bilingual media and research organisation amplifying voices on gender justice.

She leads FII’s editorial vision, research advocacy, partnerships, and strategic growth, with a focus on women’s health, gender-based violence, climate, and technology. Before founding FII, Japleen worked with Breakthrough India and Point of View, where she honed her skills in gender advocacy, media, and communications. She also writes on feminism, digital rights, and women’s health for national and international publications, and serves on advisory boards of several gender and tech initiatives. Japleen holds a Master’s and M.Phil in German Literature from Jawaharlal Nehru University. Outside of work, she’s passionate about low-waste living, sustainable parenting, and exploring ways to make everyday choices more eco-friendly.
