Dr. Edima Ottoho is a seasoned public health professional with over 14 years of experience designing and delivering impactful health programmes across diverse settings. Her career spans both for-profit and non-profit sectors, including work on projects funded by PEPFAR (CDC and USAID), the U.S. President’s Malaria Initiative, the Global Fund, the World Bank, and various private sector stakeholders.

Edima brings deep expertise in programme design, stakeholder engagement, advocacy, strategic communications, health policy, and monitoring and evaluation. She is also highly skilled in budgeting, strategic planning, leadership, and programme and project management.

Her work cuts across a wide range of health interventions including HIV, TB, malaria, emerging diseases such as COVID-19, maternal and child health, non-communicable diseases, and support for orphans and vulnerable children (OVC). She has worked across low-, middle-, and high-income countries, with a strong track record of delivering results in complex environments.

Known for her collaborative approach and commitment to systems strengthening, Edima is also passionate about teaching and mentoring, and continues to contribute to building a stronger, more equitable global health workforce.
