Dr. Temptation V. Chigova is a public health leader with nearly 20 years of experience across clinical care, policy development, and health systems strengthening in Namibia and the region. She holds a PhD in Nursing Science (cervical cancer prevention and control) , a Master’s in Nursing Science (HIV), and multiple certifications in leadership, epidemiology, and primary health care. Dr. Chigova currently serves with the World Health Organization in Namibia, where she leads and supports national strategies on maternal, newborn, adolescent health, nutrition, EMTCT, and quality of care. She previously managed Namibia’s national cervical cancer programme and has contributed to guideline development, operational research, and capacity building. She is a Kofi Annan Global Health Leadership Fellow and a WomenLift Health Southern Africa Fellow, and is the Founder and Director of Thrive Reproductive and Maternal Health Foundation
