I currently serve as an Officer on Special Duty in the Office of the Principal Scientific Advisor tothe Government of India. In line with the office’s mandate, I am engaged in coordinating major inter-ministerial Science and Technology (S&T) activities. Previous to current role, I have worked at leadership role with both national and international start-ups in the field of genomics, including my tenure as CEO of the National Genomics Core at CDFD, Hyderabad. I earned my PhD in life sciences from Utrecht University, The Netherlands, followed by a post-doctoral position at the Gregor Mendel Institute in Vienna. I have authored numerous research papers in genomics, plant biology, and developmental biology, and also serve as a reviewer for scientific journals. Since my school days, I have enjoyed participating in theatre, being part of the dramatics team at Delhi University, and the Utrecht.
