2024 Leadership Journey Project: From Policy to Practice: Is Distribution of Sanitary Pads a Solution to Menstrual Health Management of Adolescent Girls?
I am a professional social worker leading 360-degree women and adolescent empowerment interventions in the last sixteen years. I specialize in adolescent reproductive sexual health, nutrition, and food security of women and children. In my past experiences, I have been instrumental in conceptualising, drafting, and operationalising strategies and schemes focussed on adolescent and women’s health for Government of Rajasthan. As a member of IPE global, I lead the operations of India’s most extensive maternal and child nutrition programme in Rajasthan. Personally, I recognize myself as mother of two amazing daughters and a painter in the making.
