Diana Afrifa

Diana Afrifa (Director of Global Health Strategy and Impact, Nülife Medtech AB) is a global health professional with a background in physiotherapy and health economics and over a decade of international experience spanning clinical care, research, health innovation, and systems strengthening. A Swedish Institute Scholar and reference-group member of the Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Health (CESH), she is dedicated to advancing evidence-based solutions that improve birth outcomes for women and children, particularly in low-resource settings. Driven by a passion for maternal and child health, Diana integrates health economics, policy analysis, and management to translate evidence into strategies that make healthcare more accessible, equitable, effective and sustainable across diverse contexts. She is interested in using data-driven approaches and cross-sector collaboration to generate sustainable impact. Her overarching goal is to turn innovation into real-world change, ensuring that mothers and newborns everywhere have access to safe, high-quality care.
