Chinyere Okolo is a passionate public health advocate and the current Community Systems Strengthening Manager at a leading health-focused organization in Nigeria. With over 15 years of experience driving impactful public health interventions, she has dedicated her career to championing behaviour change communication in the areas of HIV/AIDS, malaria, and adolescent reproductive health.
Chinyere holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Microbiology from Enugu State University of Science and Technology and has furthered her education with a certificate in Facilitation and Training Approaches for Community Change from the Coady International Institute, St. Francis Xavier University, Nova Scotia, Canada. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Health at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
Throughout her career, Chinyere has led several successful behavioural change initiatives, including large-scale HIV prevention programs, adolescent and youth-focused sexual and reproductive health projects, and social and behaviour change communication (SBCC) interventions under malaria programs. Her work is rooted in empowering communities and strengthening systems to improve health outcomes for the most vulnerable populations particularly women, children, and youth.
