Chinwe Catherine Eze (Senior Lecturer & Public Health Microbiologist, Federal University of Technology Owerri) is a Nigerian public health microbiologist, researcher, and consultant whose work focuses on maternal and newborn health, antimicrobial resistance, infectious diseases, and health systems strengthening. She is a Senior Scientist at the Federal University of Technology Owerri, and leads research and policy initiatives through CharlyChin Royal Enterprises. Her work spans implementation research, climate-health linkages, diagnostics stewardship, and women-centred health advocacy across African contexts. Dr Eze has contributed to international collaborations on vector-borne diseases, antimicrobial resistance, and equitable global health partnerships, including presentations in South Africa and research partnerships with institutions in Europe and Africa. She is passionate about mentoring young scientists and advancing women’s leadership in health systems. Fun fact: Outside work, she enjoys mentoring students and promoting Igbo language and cultural engagement.
