Dr. Ayushi Agrawal is a medical doctor and public health specialist with over ten years of robust experience in the development sector. Her expertise encompasses strategizing, implementation, and evaluation of large-scale public health programs, with a dedicated focus on immunization, child health, and urban health systems. She holds a medical and a postgraduate qualification in Community Medicine. She offers substantial proficiency in epidemiological analysis, health systems strengthening, monitoring and evaluation, and infectious disease modelling. Dr. Ayushi provided critical technical expertise to the Ministry of Health for the national COVID-19 vaccination roll-out and broader immunization efforts. Currently, at John Snow India, she manages the Urban Immunization portfolio funded by the Gates Foundation as the Project Director, to strengthen urban immunization across Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Odisha.
