Anita Namuyaba is a seasoned global health professional with over nine years of experience designing and managing impactful programs across East Africa. Prior to joining WomenLift Health, she served as the East Africa Community Impact Manager at Global Health Corps, where she led cross-regional strategies that supported the professional development and collective action of a vibrant network of over 1,100 alumni.

Anita brings deep expertise in alumni engagement, leadership training, partnership development and strategic planning, having successfully designed and executed high-impact programs that advanced social change and community empowerment. In her last role, she built and strengthened relationships with diverse alumni communities, facilitated regional events, and championed visibility for emerging leaders across Uganda, Malawi, Rwanda, and Zambia. Her work also included managing budgets, overseeing digital platforms for alumni engagement, and amplifying alumni achievements.

Before assuming her most previous role, Anita held multiple positions within Global Health Corps, where she developed partnerships, coached fellows, and managed key program operations. Her career began in the nonprofit sector as a volunteer with The AIDS Support Organization (TASO), contributing to resource mobilization and partner engagement. She also brings experience from the private sector, having served as Finance and Administration Manager for Castle Events. Anita holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Health Management from the International Health Sciences University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Public Health at Clarke International University.
