Location: Flexible within US, Seattle or the California Bay Area Preferred

Overtime Status: Exempt

Salary Range: $60,000-$95,000 per year

POSITION SUMMARY

WomenLift Health is seeking an experienced, innovative and dynamic individual to manage the day-to-day digital communications for WomenLift Health. The successful candidate will be fluent in digital and social tools from social posting to content creation, curation and management, exhibit strong writing skills and communications judgement/acumen. This individual must thrive in a dynamic and creative work environment, be a self-starter and be a passionate change agent for advancing women’s leadership.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

  • Manage WomenLift Health’s digital channels, creating and amplifying content that builds and reinforces the brand, and drives positive stakeholder engagement; primarily Website, social media channels and e-mail lists.
  • Assist in the management of the WomenLift Health website, with regular updating to reflect new content and milestones, ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
  • Collaborate on the design and delivery of engaging text, image and light video content for digital channels.
  • Respond to social media followers’ comments and queries in a timely manner.
  • Track social media performance, reach, and metrics. Identify and share performance insights to inform engagement strategies and propose solutions if course corrections/improvements are necessary.
  • Provide ongoing counsel on best practices in digital content delivery; develop content that supports overall campaigns and communications objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategic digital communications plans for priority moments.
  • Explore, develop new channels, content, and experiences that help us reach our communications goals.
  • Manage a living document of social media guidelines and best practices.
  • Contribute to an overall content calendar across platforms including the website.
  • Interact with vendors such as graphic designers and videographers.

 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY     

  • 5+ years’ experience in creating content for digital experiences: social media platforms, websites, email, ideally in a marketing or communications environment
  • Familiarity with social media publishing and measurement platforms
  • Strong aptitude for visual and interactive content creation in addition to text-based content
  • Experience with web content management systems
  • Familiarity with content creation tools (Adobe suite, Canva, etc.)
  • Experience with analytics software, Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics, as well as social media platform reporting
  • Excellent communication skills including attention to detail and ability to effectively multi-task with a willingness to perform a wide range of tasks
  • Ability to demonstrate inclusiveness, collaboration, respect and broad organizational interests
  • Proactive, self-starter able to work independently 
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Fluency in English (written, spoken, reading)
  • Experience and a passion for global health and gender equality
