Malaria remains to be one of the world’s killer diseases claiming lives and countries’ progress especially in areas with limited/ scarce resources. The impact of malaria is greater among marginalized communities particularly affecting women and children. Although women play a critical role in healthcare they are underrepresented holding just a quarter of leadership positions across the global health space.
