Dr. Kalaiarasi Sivaji is a scientist-turned-entrepreneur dedicated to advancing women’s health through innovation. With a Ph.D. in Bioengineering and an integrated M.Tech in Medical Nanotechnology, her work is rooted in molecular biology, nano drug delivery, and neurogenetics. A DBT Women Scientist grant recipient, she has led funded research and contributed to several scientific publications, particularly using zebrafish models to study neurodegenerative conditions and drug delivery systems. She is the founder of Thremear, where she is developing menstrual blood–based hormone diagnostics to make healthcare more accessible and personalized for women. She is also certified in PCOS diagnosis and management by International Society of Gynaecological Endocrinology and Monash University.
She is passionate about translating research into scalable healthcare solutions that address real-world gaps in women’s diagnostics.
