Arpana Parihar

Dr. Arpana Parihar is a Senior Scientist and Consultant at Afourth Dimension Group, Indore, India, with over ~10 years of experience driving translational medicine, nanotechnology, and biomedical engineering innovations from concept to application. She has previously worked as a Research Associate in the Department of Translational Medicine at AIIMS Bhopal and as a DST Women Scientist B at CSIR–AMPRI, Bhopal, focusing on nano- and biomaterials for industrial and healthcare applications. Her expertise spans micro- and nanofabrication technologies for point-of-care diagnostic devices, molecular docking and simulation for drug design, tissue engineering, targeted cancer therapy, and 3D cell culture models for therapeutic development. She also completed postdoctoral research at IIT Delhi, advancing the development of functional biomaterials for implant applications. Dr. Parihar holds a Ph.D. in Lifesciences from the Raja Rammana Centre for Advanced Technology, Indore, where she developed receptor‑mediated targeted delivery systems for oral cancer photodynamic therapy. As an entrepreneur‑scientist, she has published 2 patents for biomedical devices and biosensors, along with 41 international journal papers, 25 conference papers, 15 books, and 50 book chapters. She has supervised more than 15 UG/PG/Ph.D. students, and her work has been featured in leading journals such as Nano‑Micro Letters, Materials Today Chemistry, Environmental Pollution, ACS Applied Bio Materials, Computers in Biology and Medicine, Molecular Simulation, and Bioengineering & Translational Medicine.
