Dr. Richa Vashishtha is a senior public health and innovation professional with over 15 years of experience at the intersection of science, policy, and program management. As senior manager at Grand Challenges India, a DBT–BIRAC–Gates Foundation partnership, she has led large-scale initiatives in infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, MedTech, pandemic preparedness, and digital health, including the DBT-BIRAC COVID-19 response portfolio. Her recent work focuses on AI ethics in health, responsible innovation, and translating scientific and digital solutions into scalable, socially relevant programs. She is recognized for expertise in program design, monitoring and evaluation, and forging multi-sector partnerships with multilateral agencies and industry. With a PhD from AIIMS, New Delhi, she has contributed to high-impact publications in global health and policy. Outside work, she enjoys music, dance, fitness, and travel.
