Anusha Purushotham is the Head of Health Systems and Policy at Remidio, a pioneering health technology innovator advancing AI-enabled, affordable retinal imaging for early disease detection and preventive care. At Remidio, Anusha leads partnerships with governments, healthcare networks, and global health institutions to integrate AI into population health at scale.
Her career spans over 14 years in India and the United States, across domains of biomedical, translational & implementation research, healthcare strategy consulting, and policy advocacy. She has worked with a diverse group of organisations, including Sattva Consulting (supporting the Gates Foundation), Piramal Foundation, UT Southwestern Medical Center (USA), and Sight and Life (Switzerland). She brings a systems lens to innovation, focused on aligning technology, policy, and implementation to strengthen equitable health systems.
Anusha holds an MPH from TISS Mumbai and a BS in Molecular Biology with a minor in Computer Science from UT Dallas. Outside work, she enjoys travel, art and music.
