Sharon Reakae is a disability rights advocate, public health leader, and social entrepreneur based in Botswana. She is the National Director of Special Olympics Botswana, where she leads national strategy, partnerships, governance, and programs advancing inclusion, health, and leadership for people with intellectual disabilities. Sharon has over a decade of experience using sport as a platform for human rights, health equity, and social inclusion, reaching thousands of athletes and families nationwide.
She is also the co founder of Haphega, a social enterprise delivering disability inclusive comprehensive sexuality education and family health forums, with a strong focus on women and girls with intellectual disabilities. Sharon holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and has worked across research, nonprofit leadership, and policy engagement.
