H.E. Muhammad Ali Pate joins Global Advisory Board

WomenLift Health is honored to announce the appointment of H.E. Muhammad Ali Pate, Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare of Nigeria, to its Global Advisory Board.

Dr. Pate is a globally respected physician, public health leader, and reformer whose career spans decades of transformative work in health systems strengthening, financing, and equitable access. He has served as Global Director for Health, Nutrition and Population at the World Bank, Chief Executive Officer of Big Win Philanthropy, and is currently Nigeria’s Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, where he is driving critical reforms to improve the health and well-being of millions.

Over his career, Dr. Pate has spearheaded initiatives to expand immunization, strengthen primary healthcare, and advance innovative financing models for health systems, work that has had lasting impact in Nigeria, across Africa, and globally. His contributions have been widely recognized for advancing health equity and driving systemic transformation.
