With 25 years of corporate experience, Doris Ahiati contributed to the financial industry as investment banker, financial consultant, and transformational leadership coach. Doris served as Strategy Head for the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) for Ghana after several years in leadership positions with finance and banking organizations.
Current Role
Doris is passionate about supporting a range of professionals on transformational leadership journeys, including entrepreneurs, teams, subject matter experts, corporations, women, and boards. With extensive experience in systemic leadership coaching and learning and development, Doris’s coaching helps clients maximize potential, achieve high performance, and create sustainable impact while they explore personal and professional fulfillment. She has partnered with organizations such as the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Institute of Directors Ghana as an environmental, social, and governance (ESG) trainer for boards and professional institutes. Doris has also worked with the Ghana Institute of Securities and Investment and the Chartered Institute of Bankers Ghana as a Facilitator and Examiner. Doris is a co-founder of Crescendo Consult Ltd, a people development, financial advisory, and consulting firm. Based in Ghana, Doris’s global client base includes Fortune 500 companies and Global Top 100 Best Companies to Work For.
Educational Background
Along with an MBA in Finance from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), and a Bachelor of Science in Banking and Finance from the University of Ghana, Doris holds an Executive Post Graduate Certificate for Women Entrepreneurship and Leadership in Africa (WELA) from the China Europe International Busines School (CEIBS). With an Associate degree and International Certificate in Wealth and Investment Management, Doris is also a Fellow Chartered Banker and a Chartered Wealth Manager (ACSI) from the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (The CISI).
Professional Affiliations
An Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), Doris currently pursues ICF’s Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential. She is a John C. Maxwell certified leadership coach, speaker, and trainer, and a certified consultant-level practitioner for psychometric tools including DISC, Global Leadership Assessment 360, and Zanga Metrics. She holds professional and advanced team coaching certifications from Coacharya and Coach Masters Academy. Doris remains committed to Africa’s economic and leadership transformation through voluntary service and partnerships, including work with the African Women Entrepreneurship Cooperative (AWEC), ABSA Bank Female Leadership Development Program (FLDP), and BCA Leadership (a pan-African leadership enhancement organization).
