Mariam Zameer is a global health leader working at the intersection of immunization systems, health financing, gender, and supply chains. As Director of Immunization at VillageReach, she partners with governments and global institutions—including Gavi, Gates Foundation, UNICEF, and WHO—to design and implement strategies that improve vaccine delivery and reach zero-dose communities.

With over 15 years of experience across Africa and Asia, Mariam brings deep expertise in health systems strengthening, financing, and equity. She developed VillageReach’s gender strategy and led the establishment of its health financing portfolio, advancing more inclusive and sustainable approaches to immunization and primary health care.

She is a Doctor of Public Health candidate at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, with a strong focus on improving health systems for urban poor communities translating into practical, country-level impact.
