In Africa, we work in East Africa, Nigeria, and Southern Africa, and continue to explore outreach to other parts of the continent. Across the Africa, women deliver the majority of health care, from nursing and midwifery to community health, yet hold a limited number of leadership roles in the ministries, research institutions, and funding bodies that set health priorities. WomenLift Health invests in accomplished mid-career women across government, academia, and service delivery, building a community of leaders whose collective voice shapes how health systems work and who they reach.
