In South Asia, we work in India and continue to explore outreach to other countries. In India, women are the backbone of health delivery: they make up nearly all of the country's one million community health workers and 80% of the nursing and midwifery workforce, yet hold fewer than one in five health leadership positions. WomenLift Health invests in accomplished mid-career women across government, academia, and service delivery, building a community of leaders whose collective voice shapes how health systems work and who they reach.
